Danielle Machold

Danielle Machold, a native of Killingworth, Connecticut, first became interested in the fields of personal training and physical therapy in her high school days being a three sport athlete and having gone through training and rehab herself. After taking anatomy and physiology her junior year of high school she really developed a passion for the human body and understanding how people move.

Danielle graduated with her bachelors degree in Rehabilitation Sciences in 2015 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2016 both from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. While attending schools Danielle became a certified personal trainer in 2013 through the American College of Sports Medicine. Danielle completed her second clinical physical therapy affiliation at React Physical Therapy in Chicago’s West Loop working with athletes at the high school, college, and professional level where she really gained an appreciation for manual therapy, active release techniques and their effect on human performance. Her third clinical affiliation was at the University of Notre Dame working with the men’s lacrosse team where she was able to continue working with the many disciplines that play a role in keeping an athlete injury free and able to perform at the next level every single day.

Danielle enjoys a good cup of coffee, all types of food, being outside, sprinting and jumping, developing strength and conditioning programs for personal training clients, snowboarding, and a good hooded sweatshirt.
