Eliza Cohen
Eliza developed a strong work ethic and enthusiasm for athletics from an early age. She trained and competed as an elite tennis player with the Bollettieri academy and continued to play varsity tennis and volleyball throughout high school.
As an active participant in Northeastern’s group fitness classes, Eliza’s passion for fitness grew. In 2014, she became an ACSM certified personal trainer with a strong interest in strength training. Eliza was able to come full circle during her clinical experiences and had the opportunity to work with elite athletes including Olympic Sailors, NFL combine participants and Bollettieri Tennis Academy students.
Eliza graduated summa cum laude from Northeastern University with a B.S. in Rehabilitation Science in 2016, and in 2017 as a Doctor of Physical Therapy with a Sports Strength and Conditioning concentration.
Currently, Eliza works as a physical therapist for a private outpatient clinic. Eliza primarily treats musculoskeletal pain and sports related injuries, including post-operative and return to sport rehabilitation. She is a manual based therapist combining several soft tissue mobilization techniques and dry needling with mobility and corrective exercises.
